Part 1 (Interview) Home & Hometown

Describing Your Hometown

Question

What is your hometown like? What do you like most about it?

Model Answer

I grew up in a medium-sized city in the south of Vietnam, and honestly, I think it's a really lovely place to live. The atmosphere is quite laid-back compared to bigger cities, and the people in my neighbourhood are very friendly and welcoming. What I like most about it is probably the food scene. There are street food stalls on almost every corner, and you can get an incredible meal for very little money. It's also becoming more cosmopolitan these days, with new cafes and international restaurants opening up, so there's always something new to try.
