Part 1 (Interview) Transport & Travel

Daily Travel & Transport

Question

How do you usually travel to work or school?

Model Answer

I usually commute by motorbike because it's the most convenient option where I live. Public transport isn't very well developed in my area, so driving myself is really the only practical choice. The journey takes about thirty minutes on a good day, but during rush hour it can take almost double that because the congestion is quite bad, especially near the city centre. I'd honestly love to cycle instead because it would be better for both my health and the environment, but the roads aren't really safe enough for that yet. Hopefully the infrastructure will improve in the future.
